Alfa Romeo USA

As we all know, Fiat’s management has been talking about Alfa Romeo return to USA for a while. First model that’s supposed to be introduced to North American market is new 4C. According to some reliable sources its price is going to be around 55000$ and its arrival is scheduled for second quarter of 2014. 4C is price-wise going to be a competition to new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, as well as Porsche Cayman, but one thing’s for sure; it is going to be pretty tricky to get it since Alfa Romeo USA dealers are going the be already established Maserati dealers instead of Fiat’s, which kind of seem like a better idea right now.

4C production numbers do not really promise any significant profits for Fiat, but it is not the only model planned for USA market. Main people of Fiat said that they will drastically increase their presence on US market with their future Alfa Romeo models like Giulia, 169, spider (Duetto), and new crossovers.

Model that probably promises the most is the successor of 159 model the Giulia. With a new flexible platform developed, it seems that this model might be out sooner than we think. Alfa 159 is probably one of the best looking cars ever made, and if Giulia shares some of that DNA, we should see a new spectacular Alfa that’s most definitely going to be able to compete with BMW 3 series. Check out more info right regarding Giulia in menu under “Alfa Romeo Cars”.

Another model which promises a lot is a roaster which is currently being developed in cooperation with Mazda. It is going to be called Spider or Duetto, and according to scarce info, we can expect technologically advanced, well designed Alfa, that’s going to be closely related to new Mazda MX5. Even though, it is going have pure blooded Alfa Romeo turbo engine and amazing interior and exterior design.

When it comes to Alfa 169, we can’t expect it soon, but from the available info we can conclude that it is going to be a luxury Alfa that’s going to compete with Porsche Panamera, and BMW and Mercedes models in that class.

SUV model and Alfa’s crossovers are still somewhat a mystery. Check out all info we got in “Alfa Romeo Cars” menu-SUV.

Alfa did well with 4C, if they stick to their plan regarding new models, and if they succeed in US, it will revive this Italian brand for sure, which will probably result in more quality Alfa Romeo sport models that will hopefully bring back that rich racing heritage.

2016 Cadillac CT6 Advanced Architecture

When the Caddy CT6 opens the dealerships’ doors in 2016, the model will start at $54,500 price tag. This total amount is considered to be a reasonable price; as a comparison, a sedan of BMW 5-Series starts at $50,000 mark while the CTS Cadillac begins at 46,550. For that price, the buyer gets the car equipped with a 2.0-liter Turbo 4-cylinder unit producing 272hp. When dealing with a 3.6-liter V6 engine showing 335hp, the AWD CT6 costs $2,000 more for more power estimating around $56,500. Buying a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 power unit equipped and producing 400hp, the price reaches $65, 500. All the model trims are mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 2016 Cadillac CT-6 makes us remind of classical Caddy’s luxury in a full size; its lightweight sophisticated architecture offers a crucial basis for the sedan’s segment amplified by all-wheel-drive (on-demand available) and several useful-driving systems like Active Chassis, Enhanced Night Vision options or Ride Control ones. Definitely, it’s a high-luxury package in a muscular Caddy’s style, with a host of passenger’s space and a huge cabin. The company gave us some clues about the CT6 will be easy of access with plug-in hybrid technology. That makes sense considering the fact the Cadillac choicely develops of highly powerful alternative vehicles. However, all the details would be announced before the Plug-In-Hybrid launch later.

Lexus GS Reviews

The Lexus GS family of midsize cars gets two new members: the 200t and the GS F. The 200t is a rear-wheel-drive sedan with a turbocharged, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 241 horsepower; for comparison, the GS 350 gets 311 horsepower with its 3.5-liter V6, and the hybrid GS 450h gets 338 horsepower with its V6 and electric motor combination. Lexus says the 200t will get up to 33 mpg in highway driving, nearly beating the hybrid. The high-performance GS F has a 5.0-liter v8 with 467 horsepower. It also sits lower and wider than the other GS models, with big air vents and carbon fiber accents. All four versions of the GS get Lexus' signature spindle grille for 2016, along with new, standard LED headlights. New safety features include pre-collision warning with pedestrian detection. The new GS lineup goes on sale later this year. Pricing hasn't been announced, but the outgoing GS 350 started at $48,600.

Lamborghini Aventador Review 2016

AVENTADOR 750-4 SUPERVELOCE: If you have a spare $500,000, the new performance version of the Aventador — dubbed the Superveloce — might be for you. The track-ready race car has a 740-horsepower V12 engine — up from 700 in the Aventador — and is 110 pounds lighter thanks to more use of carbon fiber. It's the fastest series-production Lamborghini ever, with a blisteringly fast 0-62 mph time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph. It gets 14.7 mpg in combined city/highway driving if anyone cares. The Superveloce went on sale this summer, starting at $492,595. That includes a $3,700 gas-guzzler tax and a $3,495 shipping charge. A convertible version — the SV Roadster — goes on sale next spring for $530,075.

The 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport

The middle child of the ‘Vette lineup combines the Stingray’s 460 hp naturally-aspirated 6.2-liter V8 powertrain with body and chassis refinements cribbed from the top-of-the-line, somewhat over-the-top 650 hp supercharged Z06. These include its grille, wide rear fenders, high performance Brembo brakes, standard magnetic ride control suspension and computer-controlled limited slip differential.

The Z06’s track-ready Z07 package is also available, which adds carbon ceramic brakes, sticker tires, and carbon ceramic spoilers and splitters for improved downforce. The extras give the Grand Sport enough grip to take turns at an astonishing 1.2g, allowing it to lap Chevy’s test track nearly as fast as the last $120,000 Corvette ZR1.

The Grand Sport will offer a choice of seven-speed manual and eight-speed automatic transmissions, and there will also be a convertible version when it goes on sale this summer. Pricing has not been announced, but with the Stingray and Z06 starting at $56,395 and $80,395, respectively, figure something around $68,395.

Sounds like just the thing a home-invading, porridge-eating, chair-breaking, sleepy-head looking to make a quick getaway.

Despite the nomenclature, all are long wheelbase cars; the short wheelbase version will no longer be available here. Base prices will start at $82,295 for the 740i powered by the new TwinPower 3.0-liter straight six, and stretch to $98,395 for the all-wheel drive 750i xDrive with the upgraded 4.4-liter twin-turbo V-8. The two-wheel drive 750i will start at $95,395.

The lineup will be expanded in 2016 to include a 740i xDrive, a new 760i with V-12 power, and the 740e xDrive, a plug-in hybrid powered by a 2.0-liter TwinPower four cylinder gasoline engine and an electric drive motor integrated into the eight-speed automatic transmission. BMW claims the 740e xDrive will be able to drive in pure electric mode at speeds of up to 75mph for a maximum of 23 miles.

New Cars of 2016: The Hottest Trends

It's been in the news quite a bit lately that 2015 was the best year for American auto sales ever. The American auto industry, like so much of the manufacturing sector, was struggling to stay alive less than a decade ago. Now, it has rebounded to an all-time high. However, those statistics may be missing that 2015 was a great year for new cars across the board, with auto makers of every nation selling record or near-record quantities. Part of this boom was a return to some semblance of economic stability after the global recession of 2008, but it's also attributable to an industry that is more responsive to its consumers than ever. The adaptability and innovation of 2015 looks to continue at full speed in 2016 with these hot trends for new cars.

Safety First

Safety has, of course, always been a major aspect of the industry. Now, however, technological innovation makes it easier than ever to incorporate safety without sacrificing the driver's enjoyment. While we are likely still a few years from fully-automated motor vehicles, the technology on which it is predicated is already being incorporated into current models. New cars in 2016 will continue to push this envelope with motion sensor technology that automatically decelerates or stops the car when impact is imminent. Other safety features are designed to take the driver into account. For example, some manufacturers are outfitting their products with a "teen mode" that allows parents to restrict the stereo use, as studies show a correlation between loud music and new drivers getting into accidents. With teen mode, the kids will hopefully focus more on the road.

Goodbye Gas Guzzlers

Expect fuel economy to keep improving. Some analysts might urge caution on this point, and it is possible that the recent drastic fall in gasoline prices could impact sales of new cars in the short term. Still, the time period for design, engineering, and manufacturing doesn't really sync with short term dips and spikes in the oil market. Add to that the fact that climate change is moving from the environmentalist edges to front and center of the international political discussion. In the United States, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has worked with the EPA to craft Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards that require each automaker to hit average miles per gallon goals across all models (within a given class i.e. cars, light trucks, heavy trucks). So while low gas prices might temporarily make gas guzzlers more affordable, the overall trend will continue towards fuel efficiency.

Everything Connected

Wireless connectivity is here to stay. New cars are coming standardized with Bluetooth connectivity, cloud-based entertainment synchronized with all your devices, and smart technology that learns as you drive. Moving to broadband connection will even improve the safety and fuel economy as automobiles are able to process larger and larger amounts of data from a variety of sources.

If you're looking for a new ride in 2016, keep an eye out for these hot new trends!
